Love and Care given to your Pets
PLEASE NOTE: I am at full capacity at the present time for dog walking but will still be available for dog sitting for an evening in your holiday home if you are planning a meal out. Unfortunately I am not able to look after your dogs in my home at the present time.
Do you ever find yourself not able to get home in time to walk or feed your pet? Do you need a responsible and kind person to help give your pet the very best care? I’ll take care of your furry friend with all the love and care they deserve. I am flexible with times to meet your needs and can offer regular or one off visits. Whether it is dog walking or popping in to feed and check on them (including other pets!), I’m here to help you to give the very best care for your beloved pet. Please do get in touch.
A Little About Myself
Since I was young I have always loved animals — both learning about and taking care of them.
I have owned dogs for 15 years and have loved walking them and getting out in the fresh air. I have also had cats as pets from a young age and a variety of small animal pets when bringing up my family. I am moving away from my previous role of 25 years as an Occupational Therapist in order to do something completely different and into a role that I truly enjoy.
I am DBS checked and fully insured.
I have moved into the Wadebridge area and now have the opportunity to start Susan's dog walking and share my love of animals with pet owners in the surrounding area. I hope I get the chance to meet your lovely pet soon.
Feeding and pop ins
I will be able to pop in to your home to feed your pet and spend a little time with them, ensuring they have water and are comfortable.
I will always have a chat with them to ensure they understand what is happening (!), are not lonely and give attention and cuddles if that is what your dog likes!
I can also pop in to feed your cat or other pet and check they are ok.
I offer a dog walking service in the Wadebridge area.
I offer a bespoke service and only walk dogs from one household at a time and will be able to take them on their familiar walks from their home. I will be guided by your advice on what your dog prefers and will only take off the lead once the dog has got to know me and with the owner's permission.
I can offer visits at present on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays. I am able to offer sit in services at your home or holiday let if you are planning a meal out but unfortunately not able to look after dogs in my home at the present time.
Susan is brilliant: reliable and friendly, she provides a flexible service and clearly loves being with dogs. We’re lucky to have found her!
Susan was able to step in very promptly when I needed help and I was impressed with how she handled my lively dogs each morning; they clearly loved her. I would not hesitate to use Susan again in any of the services she offers.
We have been delighted to find Susan to look after our cats. We loved Susan's updates via text of their daily antics....it was obvious that she had taken the time to get to know their personalities. Susan's professionalism, attention to detail and warmth was instantly obvious from the minute she walked in the door. We'll be booking more holidays in the knowledge that we know we have a trusted carer for Peg and Winston. ☺️
I called on Susan at the last minute to help with an unconventional stint of minding our two Viszla's and she was extremely responsive, helpful and obviously loves dogs and knows a lot about them. An ace professional who will make your life easier and the dogs' lives happier.
